This is the eighth historical mystery featuring Mistress Ursula Blanchard, spy and illegitimate half-sister to Queen Elizabeth I. When the Duke of Norfolk proposes betrothing Ursula`s 13-year-old daughter Meg to a member of his household, Ursula and her retinue travel to London to consider the matter.
